Fiza Pathan is a Mumbai-based author, educator, and scholar.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology from the University of Mumbai, taken with a first class, and a Bachelor of Education in History and English from the same university, again with a first class. She has taught ICSE students for twenty years, and she now holds a Postgraduate Certificate in International Teacher Education, the PGCITE, from Podar International, with mastery of the IGCSE, AS & A Level, and IBDP curricula. She is currently reading for a Master of Theological Studies.
Alongside teaching, she has kept writing. She has published more than twenty books, and her books and short stories have placed as either winners or finalists in over seventy literary competitions. Among the honors most closely associated with her name are the Digital Book World Awards, the Killer Nashville Silver Falchion Award, the Readers’ Favorite Book Awards, the Reader Views Literary Awards, the Eric Hoffer Book Award, the Foreword Reviews Indie Fab Book Awards, the Mom’s Choice Awards, the Literary Classics Book Awards, and Dan Poynter’s Global Ebook Awards.
Her scholarly interests move across Vedantic philosophy, Theosophical literature, comparative theology, and the Indian Knowledge Systems. She is a permanent member of the United Lodge of Theosophists in Mumbai.
