The Poet Lover

Where did you come from my dear poet lover?
Your genius kisses my intellect and your words my aching chest.
Don’t fly away now from this nest that I have planted within my soul for you,
Face the tide with me and in this ocean, we shall be mermen of one accord.
I want to love you dear gentle god of the lute and your little eccentricities,
Hug my innocent wish to your manly chest so that I can make my abode within your desires so deep.
Mark in ink the passion that which you set alight within my quiet solitudes,
See the girl you turned into gold by the Midas touch of your quill like finger so fair.
I want you more than the setting sun and more than the virgin moon,
Let the silver rays of the night be our muses while in each other we will find a hospitable place to comfort our heart wrenching sighs.
I love you dear verseman sing your rhyme once more to caress my ears in your holy mouth,
Sing a jingle to the lady whom you can call your own from now on
For who knew love better than the heartbroken torn from the chest of amours true treasures.
My verses are symbolic and they adore to tease in wit most funny the bone of a bard.
However dear love to you all is known plainly so, do you love my countenance then go hither from my face
Love my lyrics and you shall have me for eternity and always.
