The Turmoil Inside

My dear darling is it cold in your little world away from me?

I have melted with time over the years can’t you see.

The turmoil inside of me has come to an end dear one,

I fallen in love with you again & at last our love has come.

O dear lover of mine do you remember me still,

Do you recollect the voice I heard on the evening we said we will?

You moved on but I kept on loving you deeply inside,

I cannot love another it is only you who I adore besides.

The turmoil inside of me has ceased to anger me,

I still love your heart of gold O dearest can’t you see.

When you look up from your world & think of me,

Just look towards your homeland along the Arabian Sea.

O dear lover of my bleeding heart hear my cry,

I cannot imagine that you have forgotten me so tell me why?

The turmoil inside has calmed down my raging storm,

It has been a while since we have spoken, it has been so long.

Now I look a bit different & my thoughts are a bit cloudy,

I can’t remember our lyrics but I can sing our song loudly.

I can’t remember why we parted but who cares dearest of my heart,

I love you more than I ever did from the very start.

The turmoil is over I want to make my peace with you,

I want to start our love afresh – I want to start off anew.

In the coldness of our looks in the past gone by,

Just take the heat from me & let us sigh.

Where are you now dearest beyond the Arabian Sea?

Do you have the same turmoil in you when you think of me?

Let us come together forever more,

Let the turmoil inside us break our cold silence forever more.
